MOSSLEY Band will return to perform in their hometown next month with a special Remembrance Day concert in the social club at Mossley Football Club, Seel Park, on Sunday, November 9, from 2pm to 4pm.
The event marks a trial to bring regular performances back to Mossley, beyond the band’s traditional Whit Friday appearances.
As it’s the first concert of its kind, entry will be free of charge, with optional donations and raffle prizes available on the day to support the band’s future events.
Doors open at 12.30pm, with tea and coffee served for the first hour and the bar open throughout the afternoon.
Mossley Band will perform two 45-minute sets, featuring a selection of well-known and uplifting tunes to mark the Remembrance occasion.
Organisers hope the concert will encourage the community to come together for an afternoon of music and reflection and help revive regular live band performances in Mossley.
