PASSENGERS who travel on the Ashton-under-Lyne tram line are being warned of upcoming weekend disruption.
It’s part of planned improvement works taking place across the Metrolink network.
On Sunday, October 5, tracks will be repaired along the Ashton line, which means there will be no trams operating between Ashton-under-Lyne and Etihad Campus.
Tram users will be able to take a replacement bus from Ashton-under-Lyne, which will run to Piccadilly Gardens.
Also on that day, there will be no tram services between Bury and Crumpsall, with buses running from Bury to Victoria.
Tram services will resume from the start of service on Monday, October 6.
Transport for Greater Manchester has apologised for any inconvenience caused to passengers.
