A WOMAN has died after being found collapsed in Hyde town centre.
A police forensics tent was seen outside the White Lion pub, on Market Place, on the morning of Tuesday, December 20.
And after several members of the public questioned why it was there, Greater Manchester Police revealed the tragic circumstances.
Officers are now seeking out and contacting relatives of the woman, who is thought to have suffered a medical episode.
A spokesman for the force said: “Police received a call at 7am this morning, Tuesday, December 20, 2022, to reports of a woman who had collapsed in Hyde town centre.
“Sadly, on arrival, officers were unable to revive her and she passed away.
“Next of kin are in the process of being informed.”
