New beer festival to bring more than 100 brews to Stalybridge

BEER lovers from across Greater Manchester and beyond will descend on Stalybridge in autumn as a brand-new festival showcasing some of the UK’s top breweries comes to the town.

FOAM Beer Festival will make its debut at Stalybridge’s Victoria Market Hall on Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14.

Organisers are promising more than 100 different beers across the weekend.

The event is expected to attract more than 1,000 people and will feature a mix of festival-exclusive releases, special collaborations and beers from breweries across the country.

Unlike many traditional beer festivals, all drinks will be included in the ticket price, allowing visitors to sample a wide range of brews throughout their session without needing to buy individual tokens or pints.

Organisers say the festival has been designed to give people the chance to explore different styles of beer, meet brewers and discover new favourites in a relaxed setting.

Alongside the extensive drinks offering, Sheffield-based food traders Northtown Kitchen will be serving Southern Italian street food throughout the weekend.

Further details, including the full brewery line-up and additional announcements, are expected in the coming weeks.

The festival marks another event for Stalybridge, which continues to host an increasingly diverse programme of entertainment and community events.
