RESIDENTS are being warned of an upcoming closure of part of a busy Stalybridge road, which is likely to cause disruption.
A section of Acres Lane is expected to be shut for two days, to enable United Utilities to install a correlation point.

The road will be closed in both directions between the junctions of Gordon Street and Gerrard Street, close to Steve Pearson Car Sales showroom.
Tameside Council has granted permission for the closure from Wednesday, July 30 for a period of five days, but it is expected to re-open on Friday, August 1.
The local authority says the closure is to protect the public from any potential danger that may arise from the work carried out by the water company.
Motorists are advised to follow the diversion route which is via Mottram Road, Stamford Street, Clarence Street, Bayley Street, High Street and Acres Lane.
