Experience Jane Austen classics like never before

FANS of literature will be able to enjoy a funny and fast-paced tour through the masterpieces of a world renowned author.

The Complete Works of Jane Austen (Abridged) is heading to Guide Bridge Theatre.

Austen’s legacy encompasses just six major works during her writing career yet she still
commands a legion of fans across the globe.

Remaining as popular as ever today, her timeless stories have been turned into a plethora of movies, television shows and modern adaptations.

These, of course, are Sense & Sensibility, Pride & Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma,
Persuasion and Northanger Abbey.

Three nimble actors will take on all of Austen’s beloved heroines, friends and love interests – as
well as her social satire – in an 80-minute show at the Audenshaw-based theatre.

The theatre promises this “big-hearted comedy” will “delight Janeites and newcomers alike”.

Presented by Schoolhouse Productions, the show has been written by Jessica Bedford, Kathryn
MacMillan, Charlotte Northeast and Meghan Winch.

It takes place on Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21, with both performances starting at
7.30pm. Doors open at 6.45pm.

Tickets are £16 and can be booked online at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/gbt/e-eyqdgm
