A MOSSLEY funeral director is looking to help more in the community after launching the second round of its assistance programme.
Elizabeth Way and Company, based on Stamford Street, is encouraging initiatives, no matter how big or small, to apply as they want to connect and engage with projects in the locality to help them develop.
The team want to support causes led by people who have a clear understanding of community issues and that address the needs of the most disadvantaged people in the local area.
Organisations can request the total cost of the project or a contribution towards the project up to a maximum of £300.
With support from parent company, Funeral Partners, the 2024 Elizabeth Way and Company Community Assistance Programme will benefit people in the heart of Tameside and the surrounding areas.
In these challenging economic times, the scheme was established to help fund good causes provided by small local charities and not-for profit organisations working for the benefit of people who live within three mile of an area in which Elizabeth Way and Company operates.
The deadline for this round of applications is Monday, July 1.
Applications must be submitted by email to elizabethway.community@funeralpartners.co.uk or find them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ElizabethWayMossley
