YOU don’t have to be Irish to celebrate St Patrick’s Day in style.
Members of Waterloo and Taunton Conservative Club in Ashton-under-Lyne did not pass up the opportunity to mark the occasion on Sunday (March 17).
They got into the spirit by kitting themselves out in fancy dress – from shamrock-shaped sunglasses to leprechaun hats.
The Guinness was flowing, male vocalist Curtis Lee provided the entertainment and a fantastic evening was had by all at the club on Oldham Road.
Leon Tamcken, the club’s Chairman, said: “Our club members always get behind our themed parties and it is so nice for people to come together to celebrate this cultural event.”
