TAMESIDE Hospital has celebrated long-serving staff members who have reached impressive milestones with an awards ceremony.

Those with 25 or 40 years of service in the NHS were recognised by Karen James OBE and Jane McCall, the Chief Executive and Chair respectively of Tameside and Glossop NHS Integrated Care Foundation Trust – which runs the hospital based in Ashton-under-Lyne.

They were each presented with a certificate and retail voucher.

Karen James said: “It was humbling to meet each and every one of them and listen to comments about their achievements from their managers and peers.

“I would like to congratulate everyone who received an award at this year’s ceremony. They have all shown real dedication and devoted your careers to helping others.”
