TWO PEOPLE have been treated by paramedics after a fire broke out at a Stalybridge home.
Emergency services rushed to the property on Brushes Avenue on the afternoon of Saturday,
November 25 as smoke billowed from the scene.
And Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed two people have received medical treatment.
Crews from four different fire stations attended the scene as the blaze caused concern in the surrounding area.
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At shortly before 2.50pm this afternoon (Saturday, 25 November)three fire engines from Stalybridge, Hyde and Mossley fire stations and the aerial appliance from Oldham fire station were called to attend a house fire on Brushes Avenue, Stalybridge.
“Crews arrived quickly and used one jet and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
“Two casualties are being transferred into the care of North West Ambulance Service.
“Firefighters remain in attendance at this time.”
The Correspondent has approached North West Ambulance Service for comment.
