CARRBROOK looks a whole lot cleaner after dozens of volunteers joined in a litter pick.
Parents, grandparents and children picked up their grabbers and bags to make sure the area was not plagued with rubbish.

And the results are there for all to see after bottles, lids, cans and coffee cups were scooped up by those giving up their time.
Bags full of litter also piled up as the pick on Saturday, April 8, organised by ward councillors, had the desired effect.
Those taking part at the event, ran from the car park at the Raja Bros store on Huddersfield Road, also got an Easter treat.
For plastic eggs dotted around were turned into chocolate ones thanks to Dukinfield and Stalybridge Rotary Club, with other gifts courtesy of the shop, whose owner Qasim Ali also leant his support.
