New Carrbrook business is Far-ries out

A NEW Carrbrook business is adding to the area’s food offering after opening its doors.

Farries is proving a popular addition after being launched n Friday, February 3 in a unit occupying what was the Buckton Castle pub.

And the business, the brainchild of Qasim Ali, store manager at the neighbouring Raja Bros outlet on Huddersfield Road, is keen to keep a local connection.

For a large percentage of staff working at the unit, which offers things like pizzas, burgers and kebabs, come from the immediate vicinity.

The Correspondent also understands the final of the four businesses, which is currently being developed, will be a sandwich shop.

Qasim has overseen development of what was once an empty building next to the shop he runs into a neighbourhood business centre.

As well as Farries and the fourth addition, tanning shop Aurora is joined by Roxy Barbers.

And if the queues in its early days are anything to go by, Farries looks like being a welcome and popular addition.
