NICK Spooner has gone for experience with his three latest Hyde United signings, Adam Dawson, Jordan Lazenbury and Aaron Fleming.
Tigers’ manager is delighted with the new arrivals who he expects to feature prominently in the side.
And in the case of Dawson and Lazenbury, they are players to have previously been on the books of EFL clubs and starred at a much higher level.

Dawson, 29, who will be playing either right wing or right wing back, played for Bamber Bridge last season.
“Adam is a very skilful player has played at a higher level as well as having experience of our league. He will give us something extra in the final third of the pitch,” said Spooner.
Dawson started out at Wigan Athletic where he earned a professional contract, and he later had a spell at Leicester City.
He has also appeared in the National League for Barrow, Nuneaton, Bristol Rovers, Kidderminster, Tranmere and Eastleigh.
Dawson joined Cypriot second division club Achyronas Liopetriou for the 2020-21 campaign and last season appeared for both Radcliffe and Bamber Bridge.
Close friends Lazenbury and Fleming have signed from Abbey Hey where they enjoyed successful seasons as the club narrowly missed out on promotion in North West Counties League, division one south.
That attracted the attention of other clubs and Fleming was wanted by Matlock Town before signing for Hyde.
Striker Lazenbury, 27, who scored 32 goals last season, is no stranger to Hyde where he had a loan spell from Fleetwood Town when Scott McNiven managed the Tigers.
The Middleton-based Lazenbury was also on the books of Stockport County.
“I have known about Jordan and his goalscoring record for some time and tried to sign him at the end of last season,” explained Spooner.
“Abbey Hey were going for promotion and Jordan, who scored 30 goals plus, wanted to stay and see out the season.
“He is stepping up three divisions but playing at Fleetwood and Stockport County previously will stand him in good stead.”

Fleming, 26, meanwhile, provides Hyde with a versatile player as he can play centre back, full back and centre of midfield.
“I have had very good reports of Aaron and he gives me various options where he can play which is good to have,” explained Spooner.
The former Audenshaw High School pupil was on the book of Stalybridge Celtic in his teens and later played for Cheadle Town and New Mills.
Fleming, who was raised in Ashton and Audenshaw, had spent the last three seasons at Abbey Hey where he was latterly captain.
- Of the players who left Hyde, Ciaran Summers and Harry Benns have signed for Stalybridge Celtic, Jack Dyche has moved to Gainsborough Trinity, Jack Sherratt has joined Nantwich Town, Cameron Fogerty transferred to New Mills and Lewis Earl to Chester FC. Jonah Mitchell has yet to sign for a new club.
- Brad Roscoe has been named as Hyde’s captain for the forthcoming season.
Since signing for the Tigers from Buxton midway through 2019-20 season, Roscoe has made 77 appearances for the Tigers, scoring nine goals and has been a consistent performer whether it be at right back or centre back.
