BELLE Vue rounded off their National League campaign on a magnificent high after triumphing 44-46 at Kent’s Central Park Stadium on Tuesday, October 26.
The Cool Running Colts were determined to bow out on a big result and made Sittingbourne the stage of their success early doors in their final NDL meeting of 2021.
The opening few heats saw both sides lock horns before the visitors took control of proceedings, and took a lead they would never let slip.
Team boss Graham Goodwin said: “It’s always tough coming to Kent and experiencing the level of success that we did on Tuesday.
“Earlier this year they came to the National Speedway Stadium and won a comprehensive victory, so it’s very satisfying to do the same to them.
“This is a significant win, not just against Kent but in the wider National League competition.
“The boys rode their heart out at Sittingbourne and we couldn’t have asked for a better result from any of them.
“And while we’re not top of the table we can at least be satisfied that our boys have given everything they had to pull off this victory.”
Belle Vue round off their calendar of events next Saturday, October 30 with the British Sidecar Championships and Flat Track Racing at the National Speedway Stadium.
And as an added bonus, our very own Dan Bewley will feature amongst next week’s Flat Track stars, making this his final appearance in Manchester in 2021.
