CARRBROOK and Mossley have been given spring cleans with litter picks.
And as these pictures show, a mountain of rubbish had been illegally dumped.
The Carrbrook clean up was organised by resident Rosemary Makin and helped remove waste from grot spots in the village.
Similarly, Mossley Litterbugs, who collected more than 600 bags of rubbish in the opening three months of the year, also organised a socially distanced event.
Jonathan Reynolds, MP for Stalybridge and Hyde, joined town councillors and residents on the field next to Mossley Hollins High School with other parties focusing on other areas of the town.
