COVID-19 cases are dwindling with fewer than three or no cases recorded in two parts of Tameside in the week ending December 3.
Government data reveals encouraging figures for Denton North along with Dukinfield East and Hough Hill
The data published by the Government is for areas known as Middle Super Output Areas (MSOA), which are statistical units that have a population of between 5,000 and 15,000 people.
Denton North and Dukinfield East and Hough Hill in Tameside now have hardly any cases, the map shows.
Denton North’s rate peaked on October 22 with 556.8 cases per 100,000 people, as did Dukinfield East and Hough Hill with 555.9 cases per 100,000.
