IN separate and socially distanced ceremonies on November 11, three wreaths were laid at the war memorial in Mossley Park.
Bob Skeldon, chair of Mossley Twinning laid a wreath on behalf the people of Hem. At the same time in Hem, the mayor did likewise representing Mossley residents.
Val Snape, a leading member, laid a wreath on behalf of Mossley Town Team as did Derek Mayall, chair of the Friends of Mossley Park, from their organisation.
At 11am two minutes silence was observed by individuals who had come to pay their respects.
