COVID-19 lockdown restrictions forced the Celtic Bier Hut at Bower Fold to temporarily shut after it was open for only three matches.
The hut, located in a former stewards’ room next to the Lord Pendry Stand, is a new business venture of Stalybridge Celtic fan Shaun Bishop and his wife Ella.
Shaun, who works in recruitment and Ella for an Italian wholesalers, had been looking to open a business.
They approached Celtic and an agreement reached to create the hut.
Shaun and Ella, with the help of friends, gutted the room, refurbished it and installed a fridge and coolers.
The hut is stocked with craft beer, German lager on draught and others in bottles and cans.
Shaun, a Celtic fan for more than 30 years, said: “We were only open for three games before we were forced to shut because of the restrictions.
“It went really well, and people have been messaging asking when will we be open again. It definitely seems to have created a feel-good factor among fans.”
