WILLOW Wood’s Garden of A Thousand Lights will soon be shining bright once more for all to see.
Every Tuesday and Thursday from November 19 to December 19 the hospice’s gardens are open between 5pm-8pm so the community can enjoy the display in the run up to Christmas.
The gardens will be decorated with an array of lights, with is growing each year, and entrance is completely free, but donations will be gratefully received. Tickets not required.
There will be festive refreshments on sale including hot chocolate with Baileys, mulled wine along with home-made mince pies, cake and more.
As the festive season approaches, Willow Wood will also be holding its annual Light Up A Life services to remember loved ones as well as raise funds for the hospice.
This year two services will be held:
• Tuesday, December 3 in Glossop at 6pm in the Market Arcade
• Sunday, December 8 at 2pm at the Albion Church, Ashton-under-Lyne.
The hospice book will be available for viewing at each of the services.
