Blue Peter pays special visit to Audenshaw primary school

ALDWYN Primary, Audenshaw, received a visit by a team from children’s television programme Blue Peter.

It was to film the children taking part in fundraising activities for Sports Relief.

Headteacher Caroline Charnock, who described it as an “amazing day”, said: “We knew it would be the director, researcher and runner so were not too disappointed that the presenters didn’t come.

“They were great with the children and let them see how the different cameras worked.”

Children sang the Sport’s Relief song and then different groups danced (waltz, Riverdance and Zumba) ran, stretched, and played dodgeball, basketball and futsal.
